Shannon L. Nave, PE, CFM, is a Principal and Senior Vice President at Baird, Hampton & Brown, Inc. With nearly three decades of experience in civil engineering with a specialty in water resources, Shannon is recognized as a leader in hydrology, hydraulics, and dam rehabilitation throughout North Texas. He holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor of Science in Hydrology and Water Resources from Tarleton State University.
Shannon’s expertise spans municipal capital improvement projects, utility design, floodplain management, and dam assessment. He has served as a municipal engineer for various communities and is known for delivering innovative solutions to complex water resource challenges. Notably, Shannon managed the Fosdick Lake Dam Rehabilitation in Fort Worth, overseeing all phases of the project, including the design and replacement of the collapsed spillway with a labyrinth weir and parapet wall, and ensuring compliance with TCEQ and USACE requirements.
