Letter from the President

I am very excited to serve as your ASCE Fort Worth Branch President for the 2025-2026 year! First, I want to thank our Past President, Allison Stamper, for her tireless efforts to help us secure our new Branch meeting home at Joe T’s, establish our Rules of Operation, and update our Bylaws. I am also grateful for the amazing group of volunteers filling the variety of positions on our Branch org chart. We met in August for our annual strategic planning meeting to kick off what promises to be an exciting and productive year!

The Branch’s success is built on the dedication and collaboration of every member and volunteer – your energy and commitment continue to make a meaningful difference for ASCE and the civil engineering community. Thank you for your ongoing involvement and support of the Fort Worth Branch.

Looking forward, we are planning a golf tournament, site tours, happy hours, and have an exciting slate of Branch meeting speakers lined up this year! Our branch continually strives to provide continuing education and networking opportunities that bring value to our members, and we hope that you will continue to attend and enjoy the monthly lunch meetings and events throughout the year.

I see a bright future ahead for the ASCE Fort Worth Branch, and I encourage each of you to stay connected, get involved, and share your ideas. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any suggestions or feedback.

Lindsay Lafferty, PE

2025-2026 ASCE Fort Worth Branch President
